# Reading AI answers

Review whether and how a brand appears in answers from the AI platforms enabled for a tracking project.

## Supported AI answer surfaces

Track can monitor ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Copilot, Brave AI, DeepSeek, and Meta AI.

## Read a result

1. Choose the platform, scan date, and location or mode when available.
2. Review the captured answer.
3. Check whether the client brand is mentioned and the context of the mention.
4. Open citation details separately when you need to know which sources supported the answer.

## Location behavior

Some model-backed platforms can run location-biased variations. Additional locations can multiply checks and credit cost. Google AI Overview and AI Mode use their search result location context instead.

## No mention

An absent mention is a measured result for that prompt, platform, and scan—not proof that the brand never appears on that platform.
