Product changelog

New features, improvements, and fixes released in October 2026. Release dates reflect when each update became available.

Tracker - Separate cited sources from pages found during research

Section titled “Tracker - Separate cited sources from pages found during research”

Improved

Tracker now separates sources an AI answer actually cited from pages returned during its research, helping you choose outreach targets without treating every retrieved page as a citation.

Focus on the sources in the answer — AI citations opens with Actually cited. Switch Source evidence to Retrieved but not cited to inspect additional pages exposed by supported providers. These pages stay outside citation scores and mention checks.

Follow the available research trail — Expand a page’s retrieving queries when the provider supplied that connection. Review the source alongside its platform and captured evidence before deciding whether it belongs in your research or outreach plan.

Know where the evidence stops — Older captures and providers with incomplete citation evidence are labeled accordingly. Returned searches and pages are only the evidence the provider exposed, not a complete record of its internal research.

See Reading AI citations to compare cited and retrieved sources.

Tracker - See how AI answers describe brands and products

Section titled “Tracker - See how AI answers describe brands and products”

New

Availability update — October 2026: The Tracker Entities view and new answer-entity analysis are paused. Saved AI answers remain available. The description below records the October 8 release.

At that release, Tracker brought the brands, products, and descriptions found in captured AI answers into an Entities view, helping users investigate what an answer said about a name.

Review descriptions with their evidence — Users could search entities, filter by platform or attribute type, and inspect quoted passages, capture dates, and the exact saved answer supporting a description.

Keep incomplete analysis visible — Pending and failed analyses were shown separately rather than counted as answers without a mention. Descriptions reported captured model language, not verified facts or a reputation score.

See Reading AI answers for the currently available answer-review workflow.

Copywriter - Research the concepts your content should cover

Section titled “Copywriter - Research the concepts your content should cover”

New

You can now research a topic’s relevant entities and concepts without generating an outline or article, then use the saved evidence to prepare your own content brief.

Choose research as the outcome — In Create, enter your topic and choose Other ways to create → Extract entities only. Review the location, research sources, and usage impact before starting. The workflow is available to all Rankability organizations.

Check why a concept belongs — The report groups core and supporting concepts by relevance. Search the list and expand source evidence to review the competitor pages and passages behind a term. Incomplete coverage stays visible, so a finished report is not presented as exhaustive research.

Take the findings into your brief — Exclude irrelevant concepts, copy the selected list, or export CSV. The saved report remains available in Projects; it contains research rather than a draft or content score.

Follow Creating a content project to start entity-only research.

Tracker - Show the website work behind your campaign

Section titled “Tracker - Show the website work behind your campaign”

New

Track → Production now shows new website pages and significant content updates from a connected GitHub repository, giving client conversations a record of work alongside search performance.

Review output over time — Compare weekly or monthly activity, inspect daily publishing cadence, and add an existing campaign overlay. New pages and significant content updates have separate totals, so revising an article is not presented as creating another page.

Trace the work to its evidence — Open a page’s commit or an update’s diff to review what changed. Each qualifying content update includes its reason; date-only and cosmetic edits do not count.

Understand what the history proves — After you choose Start tracking, Rankability imports supported page history and checks the default branch daily without changing repository files. Reaching that branch is evidence of repository activity, not proof that a page is live or that SEO improved.

Follow Understanding the Track overview to set up website production history.

Tools - Research a prospect and return to the saved report

Section titled “Tools - Research a prospect and return to the saved report”

New

You can now run keyword research and one-time Tracker benchmarks from Tools without creating a client workspace, then find your team’s saved reports on the same page.

Start with the prospect — Choose Research keywords to investigate a keyword, discover related ideas, explore a domain, or compare content gaps. Choose Create benchmark report for a one-time visibility snapshot. Each workflow shows its usage impact before work begins.

Return without rebuilding the search — Saved reports brings Tools benchmarks and research into one searchable library. Filter by report type, check its date and status, and open an existing keyword report to review the saved evidence.

Keep the scope clear — Workspace reports and keyword lists remain in their workspaces. Some older content-gap records retain only inputs and counts, while domain results depend on available saved data; a fresh provider run requires an explicit action.
