# What Serena can do

Serena combines client knowledge, connected data, Rankability tools, and a Tasks board to help plan, perform, and review SEO work.

## Ask and analyze

Use **Chat** to ask questions about a client, interpret connected performance data, review screenshots, and work from approved client sources.

## Plan and prioritize

Serena can turn signals into suggested work. The **Tasks** board separates work Serena suggests, work in progress, work waiting for you, and completed work.

## Use Rankability tools

Serena can guide or start supported work across Research, Create, Audit, Promote, and Track. Read-only chat is free. Metered actions show a credit cost before they begin.

## Work with connected apps

Depending on your organization’s configuration, Serena can use connected Google data, Google Drive sources, YouTube sources, and Slack. Each connection has its own permissions and data boundary.

## What Serena does not replace

* Approval for publishing or other consequential external changes.
* Authoritative client facts that are absent from sources.
* Your review of strategy, legal, medical, financial, or brand-sensitive claims.
* Access that the connected account has not granted.

## Start

Select a client and open **Chat**, or open **Tasks** to review Serena’s queued work.
