# Using Serena with connected apps

Connect approved client data and content sources so Serena can work with current, authorized context.

## Client data

Use client integrations for supported Google services and other data connections shown in settings. The signed-in service account determines which properties are available.

## Content sources

Serena can use supported website, file, pasted-text, YouTube, and Google Drive sources configured for the client.

## Slack

Organizations with the Slack integration can use Serena from the connected Slack environment. Slack access follows the organization, client, and channel configuration of that connection.

## Protect client boundaries

Confirm the client before connecting an account, adding a source, or asking Serena to use private data. Revoke connections that are no longer required.
