# Explore domain keywords

Research a competitor’s domain to see what keywords they rank for and uncover content strategy insights.

## How Explore domain works

The Explore domain mode lets you enter a competitor’s website and see what keywords they currently rank for. This is useful for understanding a competitor’s content strategy and identifying topics or keywords you may want to target.

## Running a domain exploration

1. Select **Explore domain** from the research mode tabs.
2. Enter the competitor’s domain (e.g., “competitor.com”).
3. Set location and language filters if needed.
4. Click **Explore**.

The system returns a list of keywords that domain ranks for, along with their estimated positions, search volume, and traffic data.

## What to look for

* **High-volume keywords** — Topics driving the most traffic to the competitor.
* **Low-difficulty keywords** — Easier opportunities the competitor has found that you might also target.
* **Content gaps** — Topics the competitor covers that your client does not.
