# GBP group tracking

Group multi-location GBP tracking projects and run or compare them from within Track.

## Open GBP groups

Select the client and open **Track**. Use the GBP group controls inside the tracking experience; GBP Groups is not a separate primary sidebar item.

## Create a group

1. Confirm that the client’s Google Business Profile connection contains the intended locations.
2. Create a group and choose the tracking projects or locations it should contain.
3. Review the group before starting a scan.

## Run and read a group scan

**Run group scan** starts a scan for the projects in the group. Local Pack charges per keyword and location, so review the displayed estimate before running a large multi-location group.

## Troubleshooting

* If a location is missing, reconnect GBP and confirm the signed-in account can access it.
* If results are empty, confirm that the first scan completed.
* If costs are higher than expected, review the number of projects, keywords, and locations in the group.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.rankability.com/track/gbp-group-tracking.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
