# Frequently asked questions

Canonical answers about Rankability plans, product areas, navigation, usage, integrations, sharing, API access, and troubleshooting.

This is the canonical FAQ for Rankability product behavior. Detailed workflow and reference articles linked below provide the current implementation instructions.

## What is Rankability?

Rankability is an AI-powered search visibility platform for agencies, consultants, and in-house SEO teams. It combines client management, research, content creation, auditing, promotion, traditional and AI search tracking, integrations, and Serena in one workspace.

## Which product areas are included?

Rankability includes agency-level Home, Performance, Clients, and Projects plus client-level Ask Serena, Activity, Research, Create, Audit, Promote, Track, and Automate areas. See [What is Rankability?](/getting-started/what-is-rankability.md) for the workspace map.

## Who is Rankability designed for?

Rankability supports agencies managing multiple clients, independent consultants, and in-house teams that need a shared workflow for SEO and AI-search research, execution, and measurement.

## What plans are available?

New full-platform customers pay $99 per active website each month at the introductory Founding Partner Rate, with every tool and unlimited users included. Existing full-platform customers keep their current price and unlimited client websites. See [Understanding billing and usage](/account-and-settings/understanding-billing-and-credits.md).

## Does Rankability have a native mobile app?

Rankability is a browser-based application. There is no separate native iOS or Android application.

## Where did Advise go?

The navigation label is now **Ask Serena**, which opens Serena for the selected client.

## Where did Reporter go?

The end-user navigation label is **Track**. The public API continues to use the `reporter` namespace.

## Which search and AI platforms can I track?

See [Supported tracking platforms](/track/supported-tracking-platforms.md) for the current traditional, local, AI-answer, and video surfaces. That table supersedes platform lists on older marketing pages and changelog entries.

## How does Serena chat affect usage?

Normal chat does not use the pooled on-demand windows. Serena can start research, content, audit, promotion, tracking, or enrichment actions; the product shows the relative usage impact and asks for confirmation first.

## Why did an Autopilot run count after a warning?

Autopilot records usage once it produces a usable draft. A later optimization or fact-checking step can fail after that point and still leave a usable result.

## Why is a metric missing?

Confirm the selected client, connection status, property, date range, and whether enough tracking or analytics history exists. Missing data is not the same as zero.

## How do I share with a client?

Use the client portal for recurring access or a supported revocable share link for one report or content item. Do not share your own login.

## Which integrations are supported?

Rankability supports client data connections, publishing destinations, API keys, MCP clients, and other connected apps. Start with [Data integrations overview](/track/data-integrations-overview.md), [Using Serena with connected apps](/serena/serena-integrations.md), or [Getting started with the API](/api/api-getting-started.md).

## Does Rankability have an API?

Yes. The Agent API covers clients, Researcher, Copywriter and Autopilot, Reporter tracking, Optimize, Page Auditor, Site Auditor, Search Intelligence, crawler actions, and the published Help Center knowledge base. See [Getting started with the API](/api/api-getting-started.md).

## Can I connect Rankability to an AI assistant?

Yes. Use the hosted MCP endpoint with an OAuth-capable assistant or a scoped Rankability API key. See [Connecting Rankability to AI assistants with MCP](/api/mcp-getting-started.md).

## Where are Audit and Promote?

Select a client, then use **Audit** and **Promote** as primary items in the client navigation.

## How do I get help?

Open **Help** in the sidebar footer for this public Help Center. Use **Support** for an account-specific problem and include the organization, client, item ID, action, time, browser, exact error, and whether a retry created another item. Never include passwords, API keys, or private source content.
